BBC Motorsports – 15th Annual Christmas Luncheon Celebration

First off, I want to welcome everyone to our 15th Annual Christmas Luncheon here at BBC Motorsports. This gathering is always one of my favorite moments of the year. It gives us a chance to slow down—just for a bit—and appreciate the people who make this place what it is.

As we close out 2025, I wanted to take a few minutes to talk about our business, where we’ve grown, and most importantly, to recognize the individuals whose hard work, character, and commitment have driven our success. Every year brings its own challenges and opportunities, but this team continues to rise to the moment with resilience, creativity, and genuine dedication to our customers and to each other.

Everyone here plays a vital and pivotal role in our day‑in and day‑out success. First, I want to recognize our leader, Miles Burr. Miles sets the tone for our entire operation. Every time he purchases or acquires a vehicle, he’s not just adding inventory — he’s setting the wheels of our business in motion.

From that moment, the process becomes a coordinated chain of excellence: acquisition, payment, shipment, inspection, reconditioning, detailing, photography, uploading to advertisers, leads handling, customer greeting, presentation and demonstration, financing, final delivery, and ultimately the receipt of funds that keep payroll and expenses moving.

It’s a busy world, and none of these steps happen by accident. Each step is equally important. Each handoff matters. And the role that every one of you plays — consistently, reliably, and professionally — is what makes our business successful. This team is the engine that keeps BBC Motorsports running strong, and I’m grateful for the pride and ownership you bring to your work every single day.

Before I move on, I want to highlight something that speaks directly to the strength of this team and the consistency of our work together. For the last 15 years, we have been profitable — every single year. That is not luck. That is not chance. That is the result of discipline, teamwork, and a shared commitment to doing things the right way.

And because of that success, we’ve been able to honor a tradition that means a great deal to us. Each year that we are profitable, we provide every one of our associates with a Christmas bonus as a tangible thanks you for your hard work and dedication. Along with that, we present a Christmas ornament produced by the State of Texas — a small but meaningful way to celebrate our great state and the opportunity it provides to small businesses like ours.

It’s a reminder that we are part of something bigger: a state that believes in entrepreneurship, in hard work, and in giving people the chance to build something lasting. And together, we’ve done exactly that.

Now, I want to take a moment to recognize the people behind each step of our process — the ones who turn a vehicle into a customer experience, and a customer experience into a successful transaction.

Miles, you set the pace. Your discipline in acquisition, your eye for value, and your consistency give us the foundation we build on every single day.

From there, our operations team, headed by Ramiro, with the help of Howard and our reconditioning crew, our detailers, Cory Rose Sr, and Cory Rose Jr. and our photographer Donnie Word and— each one adding quality, accuracy, and professionalism that our customers may not always see, but they absolutely feel.

Our sales and customer‑facing team carries the baton next. Steve, Randall, and Craig.  You greet every lead, every walk‑in, every phone call with professionalism and patience. You are present, demonstrate, and guide customers through decisions that matter to them. You build trust — and trust is the currency that keeps this business alive.

Brijin, you are our Main Sail ensuring that our paperwork is tight, the compliance and titling clean, and the money flowing so we can meet payroll, pay our vendors, and keep the lights on. You are simply the best.

This year has been fast, competitive, and full of moving parts. The market has shifted, inventory has tightened, and customer expectations have continued to rise. But through all of it, this team has stayed focused, stayed disciplined, and stayed committed to doing things the right way.

.

As we celebrate our 15th Annual Christmas Luncheon, I want you to know how much I appreciate you. Not just for what you do, but for how you do it. With integrity. With teamwork. With pride. And with a commitment to excellence that sets BBC Motorsports apart.

Thank you for everything you’ve done in 2025. Thank you for the long hours, the attention to detail, the teamwork, and the dedication. I’m proud of this team, and I’m excited for what we’ll accomplish together in 2026.

Merry Christmas, happy holidays, to each of you and your families and let’s enjoy this time together.
